Greenwich Girls Basketball Starts FCIAC Tourney at Stamford

The Greenwich High School girls basketball team will be looking for the support of its town today at 4 p.m. Pack the Stamford High School gymnasium and watch the Lady Cardinals compete in the opening round of the FCIAC tournament. Greenwich High will be facing a familiar foe it is opener, as they will take on fifth-seeded Ridgefield High School. Both team are 13-3 on the season and it was the Tigers that beat GHS in the regular season. Both these teams also competed in the FCIAC championship game last season, with Ridgefield winning in the final seconds.
