Celebrate “National Women’s Month” at the Chamber of Commerce’s Women Who Matter Luncheon. The guest speaker will be Karen Newman, an eight-time All-American triathlete who earned a silver medal at the 2012 Age Group Triathlon World Championships in Auckland, NZ. Newman was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer, yet continued to train. She also wrote a book Just Three Words about the power of words and love.
