Free

At The Cos Cob Library Community Room
The Friends and Staff of the Cos Cob Library present a discussion on “Lineage Societies: The Keys to Successful Applications” with Kathleen Tesluk, Registrar of the New Canaan chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  Many Societies exist to celebrate the lives of our ancestors- from Revolutionary War patriots to witches and tavern keepers. Learn how to find out whether you qualify to join a lineage society, and receive tips for submitting a successful application.
Kathleen Hill Tesluk has been researching family history for more than 40 years. In addition to her Registrar position, she serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the NY Genealogical and Biographical Society, the nation’s second-oldest genealogical society. Ms. Tesluk is the principal of KHT Genealogy, a family history research firm located in New Canaan, CT.
