From Darkroom To Daylight

The Stamford Photography Club, in Cooperation with the Bruce Museum, Present “From Darkroom to Daylight” A film documentary by Harvey Wang. Offered in conjunction with the Bruce Museum’s exhibition, Towards Abstraction, 1940-1985: Brett Weston Photographs from the Bruce Museum Collection.
Harvey Wang’s film “From Darkroom to Daylight” explores the transition in photography from film to digital. The film (and book of the same name) features interviews & profiles with important figures in the field of photography. Each shares their personal perspective on this monumental shift in the practice of photography, and how it has impacted their work. The stories are told through studio visits, artists’ work and archival imagery.
