Friends Friday Films: The Man Who Knew Infinity

There’s no longer-lived or better-known program associated with Greenwich Library than the Friends Friday Film Series, now 69 years old. The screening of the day is The Man Who Knew Infinity (2015, directed by Matt Brown). In 1913 self taught Indian mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan traveled to Trinity College, Cambridge, where over 5 years he formed a bond with his mentor G.H.Hardy and fought against prejudice to reveal his genius to the world. Friends Friday Films are open to all at no charge through the support of the Friends of Greenwich Library.
