Friends Friday Films: The Lady In The Van

There’s no longer-lived or better-known program associated with Greenwich Library than the Friends Friday Film Series, now 69 years old. The screening of the day is The Lady In The Van (2015, Directed by Nicholas Hytner). With Maggie Smith, Jim Broadbent, and Alex Jennings. Directed by Nicholas Hytner. A stranger than fiction comedy about a woman who parked her van in a London playwright’s driveway and lived there for 15 years! Friends Friday Films are open to all at no charge through the support of the Friends of Greenwich Library.
