Friends Friday Films: Creed

There’s no longer-lived or better-known program associated with Greenwich Library than the Friends Friday Film Series, now 69 years old. The screening of the day is Creed (2015, directed by Ryan Coogler). The latest and greatest in the “Rocky” boxing series pairs a mellow Rocky with the son of Apollo Creed, a man he once fought in the ring. Surprisingly, this time critics gushed over the film. Friends Friday Films are open to all at no charge through the support of the Friends of Greenwich Library.
