Friends Friday Film Series: Learning to Drive

FreeThere’s no longer-lived or better-known program associated with Greenwich Library than the Friends Friday Film Series, now 69 years old. The screening of the day is Learning To Drive (2014, Directed by Isabel Coixet) with Patricia Clarkson and Ben Kingsley. A recently dumped Manhattan woman takes control of her life and learns to drive so she can visit her daughter in upstate New York. Her driving lessons are with Indian cabbie Kingsley in this entertaining comedy/drama. Friends Friday Films are open to all at no charge through the support of the Friends of Greenwich Library.
