Friend for The Holiday

River House Adult Day Center will host its annual A Friend for the Holidays celebration on Friday, December 19, bringing volunteers, caregivers, families, and community members together to share a joyful day with River House participants. Volunteers, known as “holiday friends,” are paired with participants and provided with simple wish lists to bring a small gift and enjoy crafts, music, games, and a festive holiday lunch together. The program is designed to reduce social isolation among older adults, foster meaningful connections, and ensure every participant feels remembered and celebrated during the holiday season. River House welcomes all who wish to participate or attend this heartwarming community event.
