FREE! Signs of Spring Amphibian Walk
March 25 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Free
Join Greenwich Land Trust at our 80-acre Converse Brook Preserve for a guided one hour walk in search of one of spring’s most magical signs: amphibians returning to lay eggs in vernal pools. We’ll listen for calling frogs, look for egg masses, and spot the very first native plants pushing up through the forest floor.
This moderate-intensity walk will have us exploring uneven terrain, so please wear sturdy, waterproof footwear and dress for the weather.
✅Space is limited to 20 people
✅Registration is REQUIRED – click the event website to register!
✅The Converse Brook parking area is located between 51 and 21 Cherry Valley Road.
