The new exhibit “Reclaim, Reprocess” will be on view at the Flinn Gallery at Greenwich Library from December 8th 2016-January 18th 2017.   The show features five contemporary artists- Jaynie Crimmins, Alice Hope, Jonathan Mess, Constance Old, and Joanne Ungar -who have applied their talents to create works that utilize discarded materials and the by-products of today’s consumer culture to create works of art. This timely exhibit addresses environmental concerns while delighting viewers with aesthetically exciting pieces that reflect the same ingenuity that inspired earlier generations to craft patchwork quilts and rag rugs.

“Reclaim, Reprocess” is a visual tribute to artistic imagination unleashed to call attention to today’s environmental concerns about waste. These artists have turned detrius into décor.

The Flinn Gallery is located on the second floor of Greenwich Library.
