“Educating the Whole Child” explores latest research on the brain

The public is invited to attend a talk by Douglas Lyons, executive director of the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools, who will speak on the latest research in neuroscience that affects how children learn, on Thursday, February 9, at 8:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Greenwich, 1177 King Street.
Dr. Lyon’s talk is entitled “Educating the Whole Child: The Critical Difference of an Independent School Education.”  The talk is free and open to the public.  No registration is required.  Coffee will be available at 8 a.m. followed by the talk at 8:30 a.m. in the school’s gallery.
