Double Feature: Flinn Gallery Art Exhibit & Friends Friday Film Wasteland

The Friends Friday Films and Flinn Gallery invite you to a Friends “Double-Feature’ to complement the Flinn Gallery show “Re-Claim/Re-Process” (Dec. 8-Jan.18). The Flinn Gallery’s exhibition “Re-Claim/Re-Process” (Dec. 8-Jan.18) will be open for extended hours from 6-8pm in conjunction with Friends Friday Films. Check out the gallery and then head to the screening of WASTE LAND (2010) With Artist Vik Muniz. Directed by Karen Harley, Lucy Walker, Joao Jardim. Highly acclaimed film about artist Vik Muniz who creates from refuse he collects from the world’s largest landfill, Jardim Gramacho in Rio De Janeiro. A portrait of the artist at work and the lives of the trash-pickers who make a living foraging there.
