FreeCuriosity Concerts is a series of free family concerts presented by professional musicians at different venues in Greenwich. The Woodwind Quintet Of The New Haven Symphony Orchestra will perform on Sunday, March 20 at 2 p.m., at Greenwich Library Cole Auditorium, 101 West Putnam Avenue.
Sergei Prokofiev’s timeless tale of boy vs. wolf comes to life in Really Inventive Stuff’s signature performance featuring actor Michael Boudewyns. Guaranteed to engage and inspire imaginations of all ages. Really Inventive Stuff is a troupe of classically-trained performers committed to sharing inspiring, memorable experiences with audiences of all ages. They perform family and education concerts with orchestras, conductors, and musicians from all around the world. The New Haven Symphony Orchestra gave its first concert in 1895 and is the fourth oldest orchestra in the United States. Today, the orchestra is led by Music Director William Boughton and engages more than 70 musicians, most of whom live and work in the Greater New Haven area.
The concert is free, but reservations are required at CuriosityConcerts.org
This concert is presented in partnership with the Ashforth Children’s Concert Series.
(We have wait lists, our musicians are paid, and the tickets have real value. Please, only reserve if you are certain to attend. “No shows” will not be allowed to reserve for future concerts.)
