Cos Cob Library Open House and Children’s Book Sale

Join in the fun of The Friends of the Cos Cob Library Annual Open House and Children’s Book Sale! Starting off at 1 p.m. with musically fueled interactive Hoop Dancing Entertainment designed to inspire and ignite creative movement, play and laughter led by Judi Ann Jones, a professional hoop dance entertainer, teacher and creator of custom hula hoops, which will be available for use and all ages are welcome to participate.
There will also be crafts, games, face painting, live music featuring Huckster and light refreshments will be available. Drawings will be held for the summer reading grand prizes. In addition, there will be an impressive selection of new and lightly used children’s books for sale.
Book Sale Preview begins at 12 p.m. and is free to The Friends of the Cos Cob Library members. There is a preview entrance fee of $5 for all others.
All Open House activities are free and along with the Children’s Book Sale take place in the library parking lot. For more information, call 203-622-6883.
