Budget Challenges for the Town of Greenwich Fiscal Year 2022

Chairman, Michael Mason of Board of Estimate & Taxation (BET) for the Town of Greenwich will discuss the role of the BET in our community and the issues that are being addressed for the fiscal year, 2022. The BET is responsible for, “the proper administration of the financial affairs of the Town including the issuance of the annual recommended Budget and setting the Town tax mill rate. The Board also acts on requests for additional appropriations …” Mr. Mason was elected Chairman of the BET in 2017 and has served on this town committee in various capacities since 2004. He has a substantial history of service to the Greenwich community, beginning in 1992 as member of the RTM.
