Drop-In Program for Kids 4+

This Week’s program- Science Sunday: Building Bridges
Work with your grown up in this program to design and create a bridge that can hold up to 15 marbles using straws, popsicle sticks, toothpicks and other found materials then, head into our exhibition Alfred Sisley (1839-1899): Impressionist Master to see how he portrays bridges and their architecture in his landscape paintings.
Kids ages 4 and up and their families are invited to the Bruce Museum their Weekly Drop-In Programs, which run every Sunday from 1-3pm. The topic is different every week, and may be an Art Adventure or a Science Sunday program– either one a fun activity connected to the museum’s current exhibits.
Art Adventures description:
In this program, participants will have the opportunity to craft fun and creative works of art inspired by the museum’s collections and exhibitions. This program is free with general admission and no advanced registration is required.
Science Sunday description:
Participants will explore simple science concepts and subjects while partaking in fun, kid-friendly experiments, projects and crafts inspired by the Museum’s collections and exhibitions.
