Sunday, June 4, 1:30-4:00 pm. First Sunday Science at the Seaside Center. Held at the Innis Arden Cottage atGreenwich Point Park, Old Greenwich, CT. Horseshoe Crabs and Project Limulus. Dr. Jennifer Mattei, Sacred Heart University, will discuss the recent research in these amazing creatures that have been around since dinosaurs roamed the Earth.Discover how horseshoe crabs are faring in Long Island Sound, why they show up on our beaches in spring and why they are so important to the ecology of the marine ecosystem.
