Greenwich United Way CEO, David Rabin, presents an interactive demonstration that will challenge attendees to survive one month while making tough choices as an ALICE family. ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. ALICE families are those that have earnings above the Federal Poverty Level, but below a basic cost-of-living threshold. In other words, they are struggling to make ends meet. About 1 in every 5 Greenwich families are living at the ALICE level or below the poverty line. This presentation will be held on Tuesday,April 11, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at Greenwich Town Hall in the Meeting Room. The Town Hall Meeting Room is on the first floor of Greenwich Town Hall (101 Filed Point Road in Greenwich, CT  06830).  Light refreshments will be served.
