150th Anniversary Celebration- Stained glass window tour and presentation

As part of our continuing 150th anniversary church celebration, St. Paul’s Church warmly welcomes member of the community to explore the history of our stained glass windows on Sunday, October 26, 2025 from 1-3PM at 200 Riverside Ave, Riverside. (stpaulsriverside.org)

Hear about how two remarkable, pioneering women – Margreta Overbeck and Katherine Lamb- designed the windows beginning in the 1950s. Take part in a scavenger hunt to find hidden meaning and designs embedded in the colorful windows. Learn about the history of Lamb Studios, St. Paul’s stained glass window creators and contemporaries of Tiffany windows, founded their studio in New York in the 1850s. Understand how each window illuminates a different Bible story. Sit in the beauty of the church sanctuary to soak in the colors and vibrancy of the windows as an artistic masterpiece.

The church will be open from 1-3 for tours and exploration. At 1:30 there will be a presentation from the David Bleckman, President of Lamb Studios, followed by a short discussion by the Reverend Stephanie M. Johnson, Rector and Christian Educator Ann Post of St. Paul’s Church. A reception will be held in the courtyard.
