Children ages 5-12 gathered at Second Congregational Church for Spiritual Arts Weekend – a program that nurtures faith through creative expression in a welcoming, fun environment. Activities included painting, collage-making, storytelling, games and music. Titled “Dare to be Me,” the weekend was led by Jenny Byxbee, 2CC’s new Minister of Care and Connection, community teacher assistants and members of the youth group.
Families interested in future sessions of Spiritual Arts Weekend, the new Sunday Children’s Chapel (launching September 12) or any other aspects of Second Congregational Church are invited to attend our Homecoming Weekend pizza truck dinner on Friday, September 10.
