Women in Connecticut are 16% less than their male counterparts. This means women effectively stop getting paid on November 3.
- In Connecticut, women earn an average salary of $55,636 while men earn an average salary of $66,477.
- No state across the US pays women more than men, with closing the gap coming to a stalemate over the last decade.
- Vermont ranks #1 for the smallest pay gap, with women earning 9% less than men.
