The Department of Parks and Recreation announces the annual tree lighting ceremony will take place in front of Town Hall on Friday, Dec. 4, from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.
This year’s ceremony will feature a holiday message from the First Selectman, a visit from Santa, Mrs. Claus, Frosty and Rudolf, and Mechanical Polar Bear, and Reindeer Rides. The Greenwich High School Chamber Singers will be singing holiday songs. There will be cider, hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes, as well as a lot of holiday cheer.
