dan-gravereaux-fi

Tomorrow, Oct. 14, Dan Gravereaux, ASOG’s new Co-President, will demonstrate the essentials of creating great watercolor paintings at the Eastern Greenwich Civic Center (EGCC), 90 Harding Roadd, Old Greenwich. The demo will begin at 3 p.m.

Dan will discuss and demo various watercolor techniques, such as wet-on-wet and dry-brush.  He will also cover the principles of good design, color harmony, and specific effects such as how to show distance in a landscape painting.

Dan studied with watercolor artist George Sutherland, and has since become an award-winning artist. He has shown his artwork in several group and individual exhibits. He is currently a member of ASOG’s Wednesday Painters group at the EGCC.

For question about the demo, call 203-637-5845.
