
The League of Women Voters of Greenwich will hold its first of three candidate debates on Thursday, Oct. 8 in Town Hall’s Cone Room. The debate, from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., will pit Tax Collector Tod Laudonia, a Republican, against Democratic challenger Howard Richman.
Candidates for the Board of Assessment Appeals have been invited to make five-minute presentations before the debate.
On Thursday, Oct. 15 the Board of Selectman debates will be held in the Town Hall Meeting Room. Democratic incumbent Drew Marzullo and Republican incumbent John Toner will be up first, from 7:30 to 7:45 p.m.
Incumbent First Selectman Peter Tesei, Democratic challenger Frank Farricker, and petition candidate James Reilly will debate from 7:45 to 9 p.m.
On Oct. 20, an education forum will be held at Central Middle School from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information, go to Lwvg.org.
