PHOTOS: Demolition Begins on Old New Lebanon School

Select demolition is underway on the old New Lebanon School building, according to an update from the New Lebanon School Building Committee. Full demolition is scheduled to take place soon.

Other work completed in recent weeks:

  • Punch List and remaining items to be completed is ongoing
  • The temporary gravel parking lot is complete
  • Construction fencing around the existing building has been completed
  • Hazardous Abatement is complete

The new school has received its fourth reimbursement from the state of $3.5 million, totaling $15.7 million to date. A fifth reimbursement of $2.9 million has been requested requested for May.
