The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the Registration/organizational meeting for the Men’s Basketball leagues will be on Thursday, Nov. 1, 7 p.m. at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, 449 Pemberwick Rd.
Anyone wishing to enter a team, or people that want to get on a team must come and register at this meeting. Parks and Recreation accepts resident teams, and teams from Greenwich businesses, and corporations. For men no longer interested in playing with millennials, they will also be offering a New league for men 40 years of age and older.
Games are played Monday through Thursday evenings at various gym locations around town. The league is set to begin Tuesday, Jan. 7.
