Kathleen Teresa Dorrian passed into the arms of God on Sept. 23, 2018 at Greenwich Hospital. She was born in Greenwich on Feb. 22, 1943 the daughter of Michael and Eileen Gavin Dorrian.
Kathleen graduated from Saint Mary Grammar School, Saint Mary High School, Saint Joseph College in West Hartford and received her MA from Fairfield University. She then taught at Northeast School in Stamford for over 35 years. She was a devout member of Saint Mary Church and had been a member of Saint Mary Guild.
Kathleen was the loving Aunt Kaa-Ka to 11 nieces and nephews and grand-aunt to 16. She loved reading books, doing word puzzles and watching tennis matches.
Although a private person, Kathleen was overly generous to family, friends, in-laws and cousins. Her many relatives reached from the United States to Ireland, England, Scotland and Australia.
Kathleen was the beloved sister of Agnes D. Wargo of Bridgeport, Doreen D. Daum, Margaret D. Adams and Sister-in-law- Kathleen Shiels Dorrian, all of Greenwich. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Michael Dorrian.
Kathleen will be dearly missed by all her family and friends and will forever be remembered in our hearts and prayers.
A Wake will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m., at Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m., at Saint Mary Church, 178 Greenwich Ave.
