The Greenwich Art Society (G.A.S.) Studio School announces its line-up of fall classes. Classes begin Monday, Sept. 17.
G.A.S. hosts professional, working artists as their faculty. Rooted in the teaching ideology of its founding members in the Cos Cob Colony of Artists, the Greenwich Art Society continues this tradition in contemporary times.
Students who wish to learn and/or refresh their skills can avail themselves to foundational classes in representational and abstract painting, drawing, mixed media, art history, portraiture, landscape painting, critique sessions, botanical painting and other media.
G.A.S. also offers a fun and highly instructive children’s program for children ages five to 12. Creative activities for kids encompass movement and the visual arts as well as teaching older kids basic skills in the visual arts.
