On Saturday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m., Curiosity Concerts – a series of free family concerts presented by professional musicians at different venues in Greenwich – will present pianist Jenny Lin. The concert takes place at the YWCA Greenwich, 259 E. Putnam Ave.
Steinway Artist Jenny Lin is one of the most respected young pianists today, admired for her adventurous programming and charismatic stage presence. Join Lin for an engaging piano concert that travels through Melody’s Mostly Musical Day, a beautiful new illustrated book with companion CD, which will be a gift from Curiosity Concerts to the first 40 families – with children and with reservations – who arrive at the concert. With the music of Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Gershwin, follow Melody as she wakes up, eats breakfast, plays, and visits grandma for a piano lesson and a sleepover.
Lin will perform on a Steinway & Sons Spirio piano, the world’s finest high-resolution player piano that is on loan for this concert. Curiosity Concerts is directing all donations for this concert to YWCA Greenwich to support its programs for women and families.
