Greenwich Community Gardens presents “The Edible Spring Garden,” Saturday, March 11 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Innis Arden Cottage, Tod’s Point, 10 Tods Driftway.

Get ready to plant those spring crops and experience the tasty world of edible gardening. Greenwich Community Gardens’ own Advanced Master Gardeners, Patty Sechi and Pam Sloane, will guide you down “the garden path” to your own bountiful spring vegetable garden.

They will cover vegetable garden basics: how to prepare and plant your garden beds, selecting the most successful crops for spring planting, and how to plant the “right plant in the right place.” Mindful, organic, and water-conscious gardening practices will also be discussed. There will be a fun hands-on project for everyone to enjoy, as well as a Q&A following the class.

There is a $10 fee. To reserve a space, please email info@greenwichcommunitygardens.org.
