Slick Roads Lead to Several Merritt Parkway, I-95 Delays

While the skies are blue this morning, the roads around Greenwich, and especially the Merritt Parkway, are still feeling the affects of Saturday’s snow storm.

The Merritt Parkway in Greenwich (CT-15), has seen its fair share of heavy traffic delays Monday morning, as slippery conditions and curvy roads have led to several accidents this morning. In addition, I-95 going southbound is also congested a little more than usual today.

Going on the Merritt southbound, delays have been reported between exits 31 and exit 27. The Connecticut Department of Transportation reported earlier that a three-car accident between exit 31 and exit 29 has closed the right lane.

If traveling on the Merritt today, or any road throughout Greenwich, use caution, as icy conditions can still remain.
