“Supermarketing for Seniors Celebrates Grandparents Day”

JFS representatives and volunteers will be stationed across the community to raise awareness and funding for the Supermarketing for Seniors program, a nondenominational free grocery shopping and case management service designed to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of housebound Greenwich citizen 60 years of age and older.
The community is invited to visit Supermarketing for Seniors booths and show their support for the program. A donation of $20 will support a week’s worth of shopping for a senior.
The locations of the booths will include:
Central Greenwich

• The Senior Center, 299 Greenwich Ave.
• Acme, 160 West Putnam Ave.
• Stop & Shop, 161 West Putnam Ave.
• Garelick and Herbs, 44 West Putnam Ave.

Riverside

• Acme, 1261 East Putnam Ave.
• Balducci’s, 1050 East Putnam Ave.

Old Greenwich

• Kings, 26 Arcadia Rd.
• Upper Crust Bagel Company, 197 Sound Beach Ave.
