Friends Friday Films: The Big Short

There’s no longer-lived or better-known program associated with Greenwich Library than the Friends Friday Film Series, now 69 years old. The screening of the day is The Big Short (2015, directed by Adam McKay). The film sees the 2008 financial crisis through the eyes of four unorthodox moneymen. A scalding comedy, if you can call it that, about greed, stupidity, and whether or not the foxes are still running the henhouse. Friends Friday Films are open to all at no charge through the support of the Friends of Greenwich Library.
