More than 250 professional women gathered at the Greenwich Country Club on May 11 for Moffly Media’s 8th Annual Women In Business. This year’s event, dedicated to “Women, Wealth & Wisdom,” was a forum for female professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs to mingle and network, share expertise and gain insight into new opportunities.
The program featured various informative sessions that encouraged the discussion of what it means to be a woman in today’s business climate and spanned a variety of important topics including business growth, professional balance, and personal wellness. These interactive sponsor sessions were followed by a luncheon and keynote speaker Karen Elizaga; certified executive coach, Founder/President of Forward Options and author of Find Your Sweet Spot: A Guide to Personal and Professional Excellence.
The event concluded with the celebration of three remarkable women, presented by News 12 Connecticut’s Emmy Award-winning anchor Rebecca Surran. This year’s “Women of Influence” honorees included: Corporate Leader: Greta Wilson, Vice President, Brand Strategy and Social Media at Pitney Bowers, Entrepreneur of the Year: Jennifer Stocker, Founder and Owner of Sail to Sable and Women’s Business Advocate: Christine Oleynick, Director of Over 40 Females. These three honorees were nominated and selected by their peers as women business leaders who innovate and succeed in their area of expertise. The awards portion of this event was ended with the drawing of a special Grand Prize winner of a Devon Woodhill 18K “Brett” Florentine 34” mm gold and diamond locket yellow gold included with a 14K gold 30’’ link chain and a braided leather choker provided by JL Rocks.
Moffly Media will donate a portion of event ticket proceeds to the Women’s Business Development Council.
