The 2016 YWCA Greenwich Charity Golf and Tennis Tournament will take place Monday, May 23, at the Greenwich Country Club. The event will begin with an 11:30 a.m. lunch, followed by 18 holes of golf at 1 p.m. that will include a hole-in-one contest and a tennis tournament and clinic at 2 p.m. A dinner at 5:30 p.m. will follow with a silent auction and the presentation of awards.
Golf format will be shambles and the tennis format will be social doubles, fun drills and games.
“If you enjoy playing golf or tennis, this will be a glorious day on an excellent golf course and beautiful tennis courts. We invite you to join us,” said Adrianne Singer, YWCA President and CEO.
Proceeds support the many programs and services that make YWCA Greenwich a prime resource for families, including scholarships for children and youth in need who participate in preschool, after-school programs, camps and aquatics; free Domestic Abuse Services, free Women’s Leadership seminars; and free community-wide Racial Justice initiatives.
