The lecture will explore the full design process from concept and plant selection to installation and maintenance—offering practical insights for homeowners, gardeners, and professionals interested in exploring sustainable landscaping.
A Connecticut native, Sheri Forster, Principal of The Scottish Gardener, specializes in custom garden design of residential properties in Westchester & Fairfield Counties since 2007. Her client’s gardens have been featured in garden tours and appeared in National and local publications. A speaker for the Connecticut Horticultural Society’s lecture series and The Connecticut Master Gardener’s Association annual meeting. She received her certificate in Garden Design from New York Botanical Garden in 2008. An instructor for NYBG since 2013, courses include The Fundamentals of Garden Design, Introduction to Landscape Design,Perennial Combinations & How to Design with Bulbs. Classes also offered at New Canaan Nature Center, Wakeman Farm & Lachat Farm.
