Not one but two piano concertos performed by the piano virtuoso Joyce Yang: the ever-popular Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninoff, plus the world premier of Jonathan Leshnoff’s Rhapsody on America.
The program opens and closes with works by Antonin Dvořák, another great European master who left his mark on New York and our musical heritage through his residency in 1893-95.
