Join us in an interactive Zoom workshop with NYC career coach and popular SCSC speaker Win Sheffield (www.winsheffield.com) and explore how storytelling can be used as a strategic networking tool. Says Win: “Storytelling goes beyond reciting your work history. Your stories are what make unique. And that uniqueness extends to the career marketplace. We’ll further explore this on Thursday.”
Participants in this session will learn how the simplest stories help them engage and connect with key audiences (friends, colleagues, interviewers). Topics to be covered include:
Structuring your stories for maximum impact
Transitioning a conversation into the “storytelling” mode.
Identifying which stories–large and small–to tell.
Delivering them with clarity and impact.
Using stories to distinguish yourself from others with similar backgrounds.
