
In honor of the founding of Girl Scouts, North Street School fifth grade Girl Scouts led the Color Guard at the March 11, 2024 RTM Regular Meeting. Vivian Marek and Adelina Ponce spoke and Katie Cappiali and Julianna Behette carried the United States and Girl Scout flags down the aisles of the Central Middle School auditorium.
Girl Scouts announced that on Sunday, April 7, Greenwich Girl Scouts and the League of Women Voters Greenwich will host an annual Women in Government event at Town Hall. All women in government – BET, BOE, RTM, Town of Greenwich staff are invited to help our youngest constituents learn how to make an impact in our community.
The drop-in, expo-style event is free of charge and open to the public. Selectwoman Rabin and Selectperson McGuigan will give tours of Town Hall and Connecticut Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas will stop by at 2pm.

In the lobby, the Girl Scout Color Guard had a chance to meet and greet with First Selectman Fred Camillo. Of note, many RTM members asked about Girl Scout cookies; Girl Scout cookies arrive in Connecticut on Saturday, March 16.
