Off-Beat Players, Inc. (OBP), the Greenwich-based theatre company devoted to teen and young adult performers with and without disabilities will perform “The Wizard of Oz” at Greenwich Country Day School Performing Arts Center, 401 Old Church Road. Performances will be held:

The Wizard of Oz is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC. The Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum with music and lyrics by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harsburg, background music by Herbert Stothart, Dance and Vocal arrangements by Peter Howard, orchestration by Larry Wilcox. Adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company, based upon the classic motion picture owned by Turner Entertainment Co. and distributed in all media by Warner Bros.

Based in Greenwich, CT, Off-Beat Players currently includes approximately 30 teens and young adults who come together each summer to produce a fully staged musical with live orchestra.
