Janet Kaminski

Beloved teacher, Mrs. Janet Beebe Kaminski, 75, of Summerville, SC, and formerly Greenwich, CT, passed away peacefully at her home on January 8.

Janet was born in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Barbara and Allison Beebe. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald E. Kaminski, who served as the Director of Pharmacy at Greenwich Hospital for 35 years, and her brother Stephen G. (Odiorne) Beebe. She is survived by her daughters Stacy (John) Stagliano and Kristen (John) McMullen, her grandchildren Katie and John Michael Stagliano, her brother David (Lynn) Beebe, six nieces and nephews, and her grandnieces and nephews.

Janet attended the University of Massachusetts, where she obtained a degree in Early Childhood Education. After a 35-year career in primary-level teaching at Glenville School and New Lebanon School in Greenwich, CT, Janet retired to Summerville, South Carolina. She and her husband enjoyed sailing the east coast and the Caribbean and traveling the world. Janet will be missed by Chewie, her Shih Tzu, who could always be found by her side.
