The Avon Theatre Hosts 2 Encore Screenings Of New Documentary About Family Owned Businesses In Downtown Stamford

The Avon Theatre is proud to host two encore screenings of the new documentary Remembering The Family Store…Downtown Stamford circa 1940 – 1965 presented by The Jewish Historical Society of Fairfield County on Wednesday, August 24 at 7:30 pm and Monday, August 29 at 7:30 pm. There will be a Q & A following the screening with Margaret Stapor Costa, the film’s director and Gail G. Trell, the film’s production coordinator. The documentary is being shown in the large downstairs theater with easy access for guests who need assistance. The Avon Theatre is located at 272 Bedford Street in Stamford.
