Parks and Rec Hot Shots Basketball Competition

Does your son or daughter have a nasty jumpsuit or killer crossover? The Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department is holding a Hot Shots basketball skills tournament at Central Middle School. This event is open to boys and girls aged 9-15 as of December 31, 2015. There are three age categories, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-15, with separate divisions for boys and girls.
The winners in each category will advance to the State Meet in Old Saybrook on Saturday, April 2. Hot Shots is a basketball skills contest that required running, ball control, shooting ability and strategy. It is designed to promote enthusiasm, fun, physical fitness and sportsmanship.
The fee for registration is $10.00 at the gym, if space is available. Medals will be presented to the winners in the various divisions. For more information please call the Recreation Office at 203-618-7649.
