Obituary: Michael Huley

8/19/1953 – 10/30/2021

Michael J. Huley, of Greenwich, 68, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Oct. 30.

He is survived by his sister, Clare Harlow, of Acton MA, his nephew Carey Laliberte, and niece Colleen Laliberte, his cousins Joseph Scott Huley of Greenwich, Kathryn Huley Jacobs of Bel Air MD, and George Henry Huley of Alexandria VA, and his former wife Robin D. Huley. Michael Huley was predeceased by his parents Victor Joseph Huley and Dorothy Ann Quigley Huley.

Michael Huley graduated from Greenwich High School in 1971. Mike worked and lived in Greenwich his whole life. He was a member of the Banksville Volunteer Fire Department and apprenticed with his uncle Henry (Hank) Huley – learning the construction business. Mike was a good friend to many; he would never refuse to help a friend in need. Mike will be remembered for his positive attitude, hard work, and kind nature.

There will be a private burial on Friday, Aug. 5, and a memorial is planned for Saturday, Aug. 6 at 4pm, at the Banksville Fire House. Any questions, please contact Joseph Huley, jhuley@optonline.net.
