FULL MOON HIKE

January 22, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

$10

In the heart of winter, plants and wildlife have to find ingenious ways to survive extreme conditions.  On this moonlit walk, you will learn about the flora’s and fauna’s response to cold weather and see the forest from a new perspective.
Join The Greenwich Land Trust and Audubon Greenwich staff for a nature walk focusing on identifying signs of nocturnal wildlife. Take advantage of clear winter skies to observe the moon with the Greenwich Astronomical Society’s high powered telescopes. Witness an owl release with Wildlife in Crisis.
The evening wouldn’t be complete without a bonfire and all of the fixings for s’mores.
All ages welcome. Dress warmly.
Cost: $10
RSVP: Michelle Spinei at michelle@gltrust.org or 203.629.2151 ext. 102
