Greenwich High Swim/Dive Team to Host Big Meet vs. Ridgefield

Come out and support the Greenwich High School boys swimming and diving team today at 3:30 p.m. for a big meet. After unloading on Trumbull High School Wednesday to start the season, Big Red will be back at the GHS pool for a meet against Ridgefield High School, one of the best teams in the state. Last year GHS won the state open championship, but the Tigers weren’t far behind with a second place finish. Against Trumbull on Wednesday, senior tri-captain Jack Montesi led the way, winning the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events with great early season times of 22.06 and 48.70 seconds, respectively.
