Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich Celebrates 20th Annual Swim-a-thon

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich (BGCG) invites the community to dive in for its 20th Annual Swim-a-thon, a milestone celebration taking place on Saturday, January 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Club’s newly renovated pool facility, located at 4 Horseneck Lane, Greenwich.

This fun, family-friendly community swim event is open to the public, welcoming Club members, alumni, families, and adult swimmers of all ages to swim laps, connect with neighbors, and experience BGCG’s updated aquatic space. The Swim-a-thon also marks an exciting opportunity for the community to enjoy the Club’s newly renovated pool and brand-new locker rooms.

Now in its 20th year, the Swim-a-thon celebrates BGCG’s long-standing commitment to water safety and youth development. Through its aquatic programs, BGCG has helped more than 45,000 children learn to swim, providing essential life-saving skills and access to high-quality instruction.

Event Highlights Include:

  • Open swim opportunities for community members

  • A lively, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere

  • Access to BGCG’s newly renovated pool and locker rooms

  • Alumni, families, and swimmers of all ages participating together

Swim Schedule:

  • 8:30 a.m. – Alumni, Club members, adult swimmers, and the public

  • 10:00 a.m. – Barracudas Swim Team

Participation in the Swim-a-thon is free and open to the community. Attendees may also choose to sponsor a swimmer or make a donation to support BGCG’s aquatic programs, helping keep swim lessons accessible for Club members.
