On October 24, 2025, Lise LaPointe Jameson, LCSW, is stepping down as the Executive Director of At Home In Greenwich, Inc. after nineteen years of service to this non-profit organization. In 2006, Marylin Chou formed a committee to address the plight of older adults “aging in place” so Greenwich adults could maintain their independence in their own homes as they grew older. Jameson, a volunteer, was selected to serve as the first Executive Director of At Home In Greenwich, Inc.
A licensed social worker, Jameson has helped hundreds of At Home members to safely remain in their homes and to access resources and services to support independent living. Under Jameson’s leadership, At Home grew its membership, offered a variety of programs, held annual benefits, and organized holiday events. Jameson also vetted service providers to ensure members have referrals to reliable electricians, plumbers, and painters. Volunteers assisted Jameson as they make weekly check-in calls on members who signed up for such service.
Beth Krumeich, the president of the At Home Board of Directors, commented “Lise Jameson has been extraordinary in her efforts to improve the lives of Greenwich older adults for nineteen years. Lise will be sorely missed. We wish her good luck and Godspeed as Lise returns with her family to her hometown of Boston.”
The At Home Board is holding a farewell gathering to thank Jameson for her years of service and celebrate her legacy on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in Fletcher Hall in the Second Congregational Church. All are welcome to join the festivities, share stories and honor this remarkable leader in our community (please RSVP stefanie@athomeingreenwich.org).
