RMA Presents “The Story of Audubon in Greenwich”
The Greenwich Audubon Center, led by Rochelle Thomas, is urgently responding to dramatic bird population declines in North America by focusing on habitat restoration, climate action, policy, and community engagement. Recent projects include revitalizing local ecosystems like the Oneida Sanctuary and partnering with indigenous and conservation groups to create educational habitats supporting numerous bird species. The center also tackles leading threats such as outdoor cats and window collisions, while inviting the public to experience and support ongoing conservation efforts.
